The New York Observer reports that Dave Zinczenko, editor of Men's Health, was among the media V.I.P.s attending the Sports Illustrated SuperBowl party on Sunday night at The Plaza's Oak Room.
NYO's Reid Pillifant writes that Zinczenko, who has roots in Pennsylvania, spent most of the game talking to fellow revelers. "He laughed after a young woman complimented his recent appearance on Oprah. 'It was a childhood obesity special,' he said," Pillifant reports.
Zinczenko, author of the Eat This, Not That! book series, told the paper he was struggling with his good and evil impulses when it came to the party's mix of seafood and sweets. "I'm not faring so well tonight," Zinczenko acknowledged.
Other media personalities at the part included Lewis Lapham (ex-Harper's editor), Richard Johnson (Page Six), Harry Smith (CBS News) and Terry McDonnell, Sport Illustrated's editor.
